naanuk eih gun naam sukhumunee ||8||24||
O Nanak, by these Glorious Virtues, this is named Sukhmani, Peace of mind. ||8||24||

My question is cannot another interpretaion of the last panktee be:

"Nanak, these are the virtues of the Naam, [which gives] peace of mind" ?

This meaning would end Sukhmanee Sahib with a reminder that only the one Naam gives true peace of mind - I'm not too sure though; it's just an idea and not based on any knowledge on my part

How would viyakaran help us understand this panktee more?

Please note that the word ‘gunn’ has a sihaari in the end. With the presence of sihaari at the end of ‘gunn’, the meaning of this word is ‘gunnee’ i.e. gunn-waali. Siri Guru jee is saying with his mohar – Nanak – eh gunnee (the gunns stated in the previous 9 pankitees) baani hai ih and for this reason it is called Sukhmani.
