Recite Waheguru's Name with the mouth, with thine hands and feet perform all work, however, let thy mind be with the immaculate Lord (Waheguru's simran).

Yes offcourse one can do Simran while working ... thts y Guruji had said

" aath pahar har ka naam leh, sadh updesh sevak ko deh.."

also

" aath pahar jo har har jape, Guru ka bhakt parkat nhi chuppe .."

Aath pahar is only possible whn one is doing simran throughout his day, It means tht we shld recite "VAHEGURU" with every breadth we take and release.

To live a happy life, one has to do simran while doing dunaivi kriyaas, hahaha but doing this simran is very tough. The key is to have a SOLID AMRITVELA NAAM ABHIYAAS, then during the day whenever u are free, have long naam and bani abhiyaas sessions. Once this happens, GUPT NAAM ABHIYAAS can be practiced while completing duniaave kaam dhannde, janjaal etc..Bhai Sahib has written about how to do this gupt abhiyaas in tract Waheguru simran.
People who dont do naam abhiyaas during the day, they get khuaar doing dunaive kaam as all works other than naam/gurbani are just khuaari, hahahaha.
What a tough play it is!
jo marr jamme so kach nikach
