I have heard many amritdharis say that sex is a bad thing, sikhs shud run away from sex. I find all this completely wrong.
Sex just like any other physical activity(farming) makes one tired and the body needs food(fuel) after it.
Immoral(sex outside marriage) sex ruins one's life, RUINS ONE'S MIND AND BODY.
Moral sex(with one's wife) makes both the parnters secure(woman feels more secure and the man feels more masculine) and increases their love for each other.

this is a sick topic!!! naam is the only true love and satisfaction for everyone. how can s*x make you secure. ewwwwwwwwwwwwww it makes you more unbalanced. it only makes people want it more. the whole world will be way over over populated!! there will be no self-control and discipline!!! house, clothes, food and sex, thats what every human wants. U provide a person with this and tell him to mind his own business and dont troulbe others. Sex within marriage is a very nice thing.
Yes naam is the ultimate thing,
just as we eat food in sehaj, same way sex in gristi is a very nice thing. We sikhs need to come out of this narrow thinking. Unless one gets jyot vigassi, one feels the need of sex. When this need is fulfilled, naam simran gets more easier.

dont try to act like a mahatmaa. Everything is maya, even the clothes we wear is maya, shud we remove them?? u just learn one word maya and then use it to prove that everything other naam is useless. People who japp naam, they even bhog and enjoy maya. People who japp naam, for them this world is beautiful. Oceans, mountains, rivers, fruits, friends, family, wife, sex, kids everything is good.
People who stay within the hukam of God, they enjoy BOTH HERE and hereafter.

lust is a different thing. Sex with a wife whom u love isnt lust. Yes meeting a person for the first time and sleeping with him/her is lust.
It is the duty of both the partners to take care of the phsyical needs of each other and if somebody does not do so, that person deserves a pretty serious beating, no doubt about it.

it is due to the effect of kaam that husband and wife mate and thus bear children.....if it was not for this no one would reproduce......it would be like peolple being relutant to give daswand etc. seeing children as a big step that they can't take thus natures only other method was lust.........but when on the path of saints.....one hates the urges of lust but when they become unbearable at least one is in a marriage to confine such actions from which he learns that it is something he needs to work on to stop slowly until both partners have a spiritual relationship.
