I was wondering to start a thread dedicated to jaap sahib and its viyakhya....

actually a lot of adjectives used in jaap sahib are hard to understand and need thorough understanding of the base word

eg- akaale - can be said to be derived from kaal or death......but there are certain difficult to comprehend qualities that I would like to get clarified

I was beginning to try to memorize jaap sahib and thought that such a thread with inputs from the sangat would be of great help.

I would just like to post around a couple of panktis frequently, which I dont understand the literal meaning of....

namastang "anoope"
.
.
.
.
namastang "ajoope"

anoope

oop = upma

upma tho rehit, whose complete upma cannot be done, or as i would normally say, he who cannot be bigged up.

differenct scholars have done different meanings of ajoope, i'll leave the schoalrs to take about ajoope and the origins or the word
