The Contemporary Bhatt’s of Guru Arjan Dev Jee times have praised Guru Arjan Dev Jee with beautiful great words. They have written that after Guru Ram Das Jee the most “Illustrious Person”, “Complete Person” has come to sit on the Throne.

In Guru Arjan Dev Jee you could find all the ideal qualities of a person. The amount of Bravery Guru Jee had is very rare. The name “Arjan” dictates that he would not flee the battlefield but will stand and fight.

In Bhai Gurdas Jee Vaar 24 Pauree 19 it is written that Guru Arjan Dev Jee when sitting on Guru Nanak Dev Jee’s Holy Seat was illuminating the light of his Father, Grandfather and Great-grandfather everywhere and through the enlightenment of Shabad he was showing the path to countless searching souls.

Guru Arjan Dev Jee’s exploits were to lift the fallen minds and give them the grace of respect.

“ਤਖਤੁ ਬਖਤੁ ਲੈ ਮਲਿਆ, ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਵਾਪਾਰਿ ਸਪਤਾ ।”

Guru Arjan Dev Jee’s another great achievement was to compile the treasure of spirituality the Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Even after such blessing he did not sit quiet rather he kept fixed on keertan and explained the mystery of Gurbanee and made others become the colour he was coloured in.

“ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਭੰਡਾਰੁ ਭਰਿ, ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਕਥਾ ਰਹੈ ਰੰਗ ਰਤਾ ।“

Guru Arjan Dev Jee’s personality was the enlightenment of Truth. His seal of spiritual governance is Truth. Truth was his strength, power and Truth was what he preached even if he had to bear suffering. All the World’s Kingdoms/Rulers/Regimes will come to an end but Guru Jee’s Kingdom of Truth will remain and remain for ever in this world :

ਸਚੁ ਨੀਸਾਣੁ ਦੀਬਾਣੁ ਸਚੁ, ਸਚੁ ਤਾਣੁ ਸਚੁ ਮਾਣੁ ਮਹਤਾ ।

ਅਬਚਲੁ ਰਾਜੁ ਹੋਆ ਸਣਖਤਾ ॥੧੯॥

In the beginning of the next pauree Bhai Gurdas Jee states the genius of Guru Arjan Dev Jee has made all the seekers of Truth in all four lands of the North, East, South and West come begging to become Sikhs.

ਚਾਰੇ ਚਕ ਨਿਵਾਇਓਨੁ, ਸਿਖ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਆਵੈ ਅਗਣਤਾ ।

Guru Arjan Dev Jee was one Solely Devoted Sikh , an Obedient Son, a Forgiving Brother, a Loving Husband and an Accomplished Father.

Guru Jee was the face of Patience, Forgiveness, Humility, Friendship and Tenderness.
