Within easy reach of Tarn Taran was the centre of Sikh religion during the time of the third Prophet, Guru Amar Das ji. The deep well (bauli) in the Gurudwara has 84 steps. Whoever takes a bath here and recites Japji Sahib (divine composition of the first Prophet of the Sikhs, Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji ) at each step, and repeats the recitation followed by bath in the Holy Well 84 times, attains moksh, because he lives out 84,000 cycles of birth representing each specie created by God.

Is it true if one does jap jee sahib on each step (84) that person doesnt have to come back into this world ever again?

Is their any sakhis or gurbani quotes backing this up?

My interpretation of this is that a person who performs this difficult task would be exempt from going through 8.4 million lifeforms and will surely get human form again. Human form is rare and if we miss this opportunity to do bhagti in this human form, we would have to go through many life forms before becoming a human again. Doing the above stated at Govindwal Sahib would exempt a person to go through inferior life-forms and ensure human form again.

As far as not ever coming back to this world again, I don't think this is what is accomplished by doing 84 Siri Jap jee Sahib's at each step at Govindwal Sahib. To ensure permanent abode in the next world one must lead one's whole life according to Guru Sahib's teachings and attain the Sachkhand avastha while living. I am not questioning the efficacy of Siri Jap jee Sahib. If done with full maryada, even one paath is capable of giving one salvation from this cycle of life and death but such paath can only be done after years of Gurbani Abhyaas and Naam Abhyaas. How else can one get such concentration?

Does one have to do a full ishnaan after each japjee sahib da paath, or will just a little dip do.

Also how long will it take?

Also does this process have to do be done in one step, or caan one do 41 steps one day and then next day to the remainder.

Also can u have little breaks eg 10 mins break sittting down after 10 steps??

Full isnaan after each japji sahib, including kes.

Depends on speed, normally about 12-15 hours

Process has to be done all together

breaks should be ok, No TEA breaks lol.

The more breaks the longer.

have ishaan and just wear a simple keski, then dip your head under the water, just like how you have ishnaan at harmandir sahib. dont bother opening and retieing just do the abhyaas with a wet keski, the amrit will continue to run from your keski all over your body. guroooooo
