The translation of these two pankitis done on sikhitothemax does not seem to be correct. Below is the translation from sikhitothemax:

---------------
karam dhharam naem brath poojaa ||

The karma of good actions, the Dharma of righteous living, religious rituals, fasts and worship

paarabreham bin jaan n dhoojaa ||2||

- practice these, but do not know any other than the Supreme Lord God. ||2||
----------------

The correct translation is: - the means of salvation stated in the first pankiti namely carrying out good karma, carrying out duties of righteousness, observing strict rules of Dharma e.g. fasting and puja etc. are not to be recognized by a Gursikh. These above mentioned means (are definitely good but) on their own cannot give salvation to the seeker. For salvation the only thing is Naam. The second pankiti makes it clear that other than Parbraham (his Naam) recognize not any other mean.

Daas,
Kulbir Singh
