It came as a true shock to hear the news of Akaal Chalaana of Bhai Parminder Singh. What a loss our Panth has incurred.
What can we do. So was the bhaana of Vaheguru. May Guru Sahib bless them in the next world.
The sangat left behind to endure this terrible sorrow and loss should try to minimise the affect of this tragedy by taking up the tasks that Bhai Parminder Singh and Bhai Charanjit Singh had undertaken. There is no other way to remember these gursikhs.
Daas,
Kulbir Singh

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa! Waheguru ji ki fateh!
I cannot speak of Bhai Charanjit Singh as I did not know him but I knew Parminder Singh since we were both in high school. What he accomplished in the space of a few years is nothing short of phenomenal; what he had planned was even more splendid.
We all talk about making sacrifices for the Panth and working to help the youth but this was a Guru-Pyara who walked the walk and made untold personal sacrifices in putting the sikh youth first. Anytime I met him, he would break into a huge smile; in fact, he was always smiling......just looking at his face, you could feel the love for Sikh resonating from him
He was a diamond amongst coals - how do you replace someone like him? I pray, and we all should, that we together have the strength he alone had and work to maintain the seva he was doing. I can't think of anything more to say.....
still in shock

Waheguroo jee ka khalsa waheguroo jee kee fateh...
bhai parminder singh jee.. what can I say about him?
The last email conversation I had with bhai sahib. He told me to always remember to say fateh before and after anything I say to a gursikh.
"one of the first things we learn is that you must always say Fateh to every
Gursikh. Baba Ji!! "
he said " Before you can go out and do Parchar of Sikhi you yourself must learn what Sikhi really is. "
before this email, he had written to me about how much he wants panthic ekta and for all singhs to have gursikhi pyaar..
"I agree with what you said about putting our differences aside and working together.....All the various groups are doing seva in their own way that Guru Ji has blessed them with, but imagine how much more parchar could be done if we just put our own fighting aside and worked together.
While we waste our time arguing with one another, groups like the Radha Swamis, Naam Dharees, and others are taking advantage of this and growing day by day.
I don't know why I am writing this e-mail to you...I was actually moved by the post you made and just felt like contacting you. Somebody needs to take the first step. We can't think that 'I don't want to be the one who is
giving in'.
we need to look at the bigger picture of what is better for the Panth. I hope you understand what I am saying. There have been many meetings where people say we want EKTA, but then they do nothing to show it. We must start to actually take steps towards EKTA because at the end of the day we are all sons and daughters of Guru Ji no matter what group we are affiliated with.
We are all trying our hardest to serve the Panth. If there is ever any help you need from me, Gurmat Studies Foundation, or Guru Nanak Academy you may let us know. "
As bhai sahib had reminded me to do.. I will say fateh..
Waheguroo jee ka khalsa waheguroo jee kee fateh!

this is in response to "ks"

there is no need for condolences as those are offered when some sad event has occured.
this is actually a joyous celebration - a wedding of the soul of parminder singh, the soul of rena kaur and the soul of charnjit singh, with their soul husband Waheguru.
thousands of people, including really devoted gursikhs, did ardas for them and they also had a lot of good kamaee from this and past janams.
there is no doubt they were welcomed into sach khand.
the best thing we can do now is support the sikh parchar they did at the guru nanak academy by sending our kids there, enrolling ourselves there, giving donations to the memorial fund and promoting the academy.
