Waheguru ji ka khalsa
waheguru ji ki fateh!
Right now it is time that sikhs educate the public on who we are. It's time we did seva not just in our own "sikh" communities, but started to get out there and do something for other "non-sikhs" in our communities respectively. Go serve food at the mission, or help out at our hospitals. I think sikhs are far to into giving to other sikhs, and our "gurdawaras". Our gurdawara's are all monopolized, and many parbhandaks care less about what happens in our communities. There's a lot of drugs and alcohol being done by our own sikh youth in Toronto and elsewhere. We need to get out there and help the youth. The future of sikhi is not in india. It's here...it's now! Get out there into your communities and help out our fellow sikh youth, and other members of society. Guru nanak dev ji didn't just help his followers. He did much seva in the hopes that this world would be a better place to live. Let us show Guru sahib ji that we can help! Kaar Seva!
