Does anybody know more about this famous song-writer? I know he is of "Dhanda" / "Dhanday" village, near Goraya (dist Jalandhar) in the Doaba area of Punjab.
He has written many kavitas for the Jago-wale kavishri jatha and something that most people probably don't know, is that he wrote "Chardi kalla vich rendey anakhi put saradaran de" for Sukhshinder Shinda's most recent album - (wonder if those punjabis who dance to this song & are against the kharkoo singhs etc know that the same guy wrote some really powerful khalistani stuff lol ??)
He has got to be one of the bravest writers, as his lyrics could have got him killed by the Indian forces in the 80's/90's - but he always had his name in the last verse.
