What bania did Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh read daily? if anyone knows. Also what bania did Sant Jarnail Singh Ji bhindrawala read daily? This includes what they read the most - amritvela and during the day.

Also, is there any Gursikh who read a lot of Jaap Sahib?

thank you ji.

Harinder singh,

lol you have gone way off topic. Don't you have to take a hukamnama first? or do you want to change your member name??? :s

my member name is my real name. Its the name given to me during amrit sanchar. Is there a way to change it now. I guess I will have to pesh before Guru roop punj only. Only they have the authority to change such things.

in bhai randhir singh ji's autobiography, in the early part of bhai sahib's jeevani it says he had 5 japji sahibs as part of his nitnem, dont know if this changed as he progressed, as this was only a very very early part of his spritiyal journey.

I can not validate these suggestions about Sant Jarnail Singh Ji, however it is said that sant ji did around over 100 Jap Ji Sahibs daily (exact number varies according to source, eg. 110, 125,etc.). It's not unbelievable but I cant say 100% for sure its true.
Also Sant Ji used to do panj granthi as nitnem and also when they were little and worked on the farm, dont kno the number.

I am not sure about Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee's nitnem in term of Gurbanis but one thing is known about Bhai Sahib that he used to do Naam Simran, Swaas Swaas, Khin Khin, Pal Pal, Dam-b-Dam. In other words he did Gurmantr Jaap all the time.

In Bhai Sahib early days, he did extensive kamaayee of Bhagat Baani and Baayee Vaaraan i.e. he used to do constant paaths of Bhagat Baani and 22 Vaars (like Asa kee Vaar, Basant kee Vaar, Ramkali kee Vaar (3 vaars)). This is evident from Jail Chithiaan.

Then at one stage of his life, he used to do non-stop Akhand Paaths of Siri Sukhmani Sahib i.e. he used to constantly do Siri Sukhmani Sahib. This is evident from one of his books called Andithi Duniya.

In jail, Bhai Sahib used to do and listen to massive paath and a list of the baanis that he and other Singhs used to recite is given in Jail Chithian.

Daas,
Kulbir Singh
