Nau Nidhi means nine kind of treasures. To have nau nidhi means to have no wealth problem. Naam too has been referred to as Nau Nidh Naam as it is the giver of both worldly and spiritual wealth.

I think historically it is said that there are nine kinds of treasures - money is just one of them. I may be wrong, but sukh of disease-free body and sukh of children are perhaps two more. I am not sure though.

But by Naam jap, all nine treasures come running after Gursikhs without effort.

"Nau nidhee atharah sidhee pichay lageeya phireh, jo Har hirdey sada vasaeh"
"The nine treasures and the eighteen spiritual powers of the Siddhas follow him, who keeps the Lord enshrined in his heart."

Also, Naam is also called "nau nidh" - basically the supreme treasure.
