This teeka is very interesting. I love the language used in this teeka. It is a mixture of Hindi and Punjabi. Some of the meanings of Gurbani may be different from those of Professor Sahib Singh and Giani Harbans Singh but still this teeka is very significant in Sikh Panth.

It is the first known teeka of Siri Guru Granth Sahib jee and Giani Bachan Singh along with a team of scholars of later 18th century did this teeka (translation).

This Teeka is available at Sach Sauda Parchar Society and I would recommend all gursikhs to have this teeka after they have purchased the following teekas:

Guru Granth Darpan by Professor Sahib Singh

Teeka by Giani Harbans Singh

Shabadaarth by Bawa Harkishan Singh and other SGPC scholars

Faridkoti Teeka.

I find Faridkot Vala Teeka at times hard to understand. As i downloaded the file some months ago. Panktees or even Shabads..that i understand if i read carefuly, but like when there is a longer explanation i fall out. Kind of difficult to understand the Hindi used, i guess. I didn't fully understand what the Teeka says about "moolmantar" or Mangalacharan. It explains the meanings in 4 and half pages in the PDF file.
Bhai Sahib ji, it would be great if you could translate or even summarize that into English....so we can understand atleast the mool message of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. It would be great to see what Faridkot Vala Teeka has to say, in comparison to 'modern' Teekas.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki fateh.

Faridkoti Teeka...wow this was the First Teeka I bought decades ago ...it is in FOUR VOLUMES....and precious....

The language is a bit dated... had to be that this was so long ago and the people doing the sewa were more versed in Sanskrit/Nirmala/Udassi/Puratan versions than the modern day verisons like that of the Guru Granth darpan of Prof sahib Singh jI or harbans Singh's Teeka..

Thnaks to the Veer from rarasahib.com who put it on line and also a few other old books like Nanak parkash. makes my research routine much easier...and my four volume set now rests on its shelf and rarely disturbed.
