According to my understanding a sikh is one who
1. has submitted to the supremacy of the House of Guru Nanak Dev Jee Maharaaj Jee by getting amrit chakk and doesn believe or bow his head for anyone else(this is the most most most most most most most important thing). If some "amritdhari" bows or lowers his head for somebody other than Satguru Jee, he is NO SIKH in my eyes.
2. has not broken his amrit, ie has not committed 4 cardinal sins or bajjar kurehits.
This is minimum defination of a sikh according to my present limited understanding.
Then a person who does not keep roti beti de saanjh vith fellow sikhs, well such a person is very very kacha. HOwever there are some innocent bholle people who just dont know about this bibek of roti beti or havent been told this by PUnj. Well they can be excused, but people who have been told this by Punj but still loose their niaaraapan, well they shud think twice whether they shud be called sikhs or not.

Now who is good sikh or gursikh: A gursikh is one who does solid naam kamayee by remaining within decent rehit boundaries which will automatically include bibek(sikh de roti beti de saanj sikh naal),amritvela, nitnem etc.
