Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

The following quote is from book "The Japji - Translation and Meaning" by Sardar Harnam Singh Ji (Judge Punjab High Court / Senior Advocate, Supreme Court Of India) published by Sardar Surindar Singh Ji, East Patel Nagar, New Delhi in 1957:

"In the Japji there are thirty-eight stanzas with Mulmantra by the way of a Prologue at the beginning and Sloke by way of an Epilogue at the end.

In the Japji the Guru has used 4977 letters and 4977 short vowel marks. In the Prologue and the Epilogue the Guru has used 58 and 100 letters and 58 and 100 short vowel marks respectively. In each of the the thirty-eight stanzas, the number of letters used is equal to the number of short vowel marks used in that stanza."

Wonders of the Sat Guru, ain't it!
