This book is based on Sau Saakhi book of which there are many fake versions. Kuka (Naamdharis) writers seem to have manipulated some saakhis in this old book and entered phrases in praise of Baba Raam Singh, their founder. Also, some of the saakhis in this book do not seem to be in accordance to Gurmat. One can't help noticing that there are many false prophecies in this book and many phrases have been entered in favour of the British. Definitely, many saakhis have been doctored by people who had vested interests.

there were originally 5 volumes of 100 sakhis each, given to us by the Guru. But, as has been written above, they were seriously doctored and are now unreliable. ACcording to baba jagjit singh ji harkhowal, there are still some original saroops of sau sakhi available at some sant deras in india. he did not mention where.
