sadh sangat jeeo,
at least some of our guroo saahibaa(n) i.e. different mehl sahibaa(n), wrote a kanna not in the form of a short vertical line which is attached and hangs directly below the script-line, but in the form of a dot, exactly the same as a bindee which hangs just below the script-line, un-attached.
i have the following questions:
- which guroo saahibaa(n) wrote in this manner and which didn't?
- can anyone tell me if this 'style' is a consistent feature of all the mehl sahibs' handwritten script i.e. via hukamnamae, hand-written mool mantars etc.?
- is this 'style' a consistent feature of all the puraatan hath-likhat saroopaa(n) and any old manuscripts relating to Bhai Gurdaas Jee and other gursikhs, if such manuscripts exist?
- where can one see photographs, online or otherwise, of the kartarpuri saroop amnd other puraatan saroopaa(n)?
