I was viewing the entry of Muhammad in wikipedia, [
en.wikipedia.org]
At the very end in "other religious traditions" it says:
Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, viewed Muhammad as an agent of the Hindu supreme being Brahman.[173]
The reference quoted is Peter Teed (1992), p.424. I looked for books on this author online and they are all about history of Britain, or 19th, 20th century history. I hardly think this guy would be qualified to write about guru ji who was in an era centuries before the period of his history books.
Also, I doubt that the claim that guru nanak devji said muhammad was an agent of Brahman (god). In fact, from my knowledge Guru ji is very silent about Muhammad. Does anyone have any references to what guru ji has said about Muhammad?
I would like to edit this entry on wikipedia cause I really don't like it/agree with it...
